Sequester Silo
Master's Project
The Sequester Silo reuses Liverpool’s Tate & Lyle Sugar Silo to tackle air pollution.
Algae farming is used to cleanse CO₂ from the atmosphere, by collecting polluted air using Direct Air Capture technology. The excess Algae can be used in a multitude of bio-products, from energy to plastics to toiletries. This system can also cleanse industrial effluent as well as clear the air of harmful pollutants such as Sulfur Dioxide and Particulate Matter.
